Officially called the “Ehrenwaffe für politische Leiter der NSDAP” (Eng: Honorary weapon for political leaders of the NSDAP), the Walther PPK “Politische Leiter” handgun is more commonly known as the Party Leader PPK.
The handgun by Carl Walther, primarily manufactured in the Zella Mehlis factory between 1938 and 1939, served as a symbol of the Nazi Party’s (NSDAP) hierarchy. This special variant distinguished itself by its iconic brown grips featuring the eagle and swastika. With an estimated 3,500 produced, they are among the rarest Walther PPK variants.
