This German observation post, designated M9, lies on top of South Hill on the most southern tip, south of Fort Regent on the Island of Jersey, UK. The M9 bunker lies next to a gun position. This observation post was the fire control bunker for the two French 7,5 cm FK 231 (f) guns from Widerstandsnest South Hill Oben during World War Two.
Visit
It is not possible to visit the M9 observation bunker, it is fenced off for your own protection. It soars high above the cliffs. It can be seen from Widerstandsnest South Hill Oben or from the streets below.
