This Messerschmitt Bf 109 was produced by the Maschinenwerk GmbH in Leipzig Germany on 28th November in 1939. With registration Black 8 and later with Red 5, it flew with II/Jagdgeschwader 77. After the upgrade to type E-4 it was transferred to I/Jagdgeschwader 77 this time with registration Black 2.
