The Memorial Museum of Omaha Beach is located at the D-Day landing beach in Normandy code named “Omaha”. The beach and villages behind were taken by American troops after heavy fighting during Operation Overlord, the invasion of France on 6 june 1944.

This museum has many items on display from that battle.

Check out the museum’s website for opening times. They have a self-guided tour and a visit will take one hour.
